Preference center & email subscribe pages

The ask: Build out a subscribe preference page from triggered emails to gain data to be loaded into Responsys. This turned into a much larger project after we asked a few more questions.

The Process: We mapped out a few user journeys and discovered there was much more to the story.

  • How are new users and signed up email users data being handled?
  • What's the difference between a new user journey and an established customer?
  • Where were opportunities to maintain communication through triggered emails?

We mapped out a journey based off a flowchart illustrating how new and established users would be presented either a sign up page or preference center. We also pointed out selling opportunities by showing where we could incorporate email triggers to help the user establish trust and a chance to discover what Frontier offers in terms of discounted flights.

I created a multi-step preference center where each section needed to collapse before moving on to the next. The mobile progress bar moves as you go through the form process. The form contains a variety of inputs that each needed to be specifically styled. I wanted the sections to be modularized, so I used Vue to create reusable components. In addition to the actual form inputs, there is a lot of user interaction between each form section (back, next buttons, clickable headlines)

I customized the progress bar for mobile users. The plane slides further to the right as the user progresses through the form.
